Jos East Council Boss tasks host communities to support his administration with valuable advises
The Executive Chairman, Jos East Local Government Council, Hon. (Pastor) Yakubu Izang Ezekiel, has urged communities hosting the local government secretariat to collaborate with his administration to tackle underdevelopment, poverty and insecurity around secretariat’s environment.
The leader of the host community stakeholders, Ada Danladi A. Sambo charged the Council Chairman to initiate a roundtable discussion with all stakeholders to resolve the menace of insecurity, poverty and infrastructure deficit especially around Angware and other neighbouring communities in the local government. They said, government needs to sit up to really address pertinent issues affecting Angware community, Maigemu district and Jos East as a whole.
The Chairman, concluded that the community where the local government secretariat is located must take ownership, they must identify with it and feel it, he said.”
In attendance were Ada Danladi A. Sambo (Leader), Ada Ezekiel Sambo, Mr. Joseph Azi Agada and Ada Umaru Sambo (representative of the host community); on the side of Jos East authority were; Comrade Ishaku Ayuba Ajang, the Deputy Chairman, Hon. (Mrs.) Naomi Sani Zandi as well as the Chief of Staff to the Executive Chairman of Jos East LGA, Hon. (Chief) James Atang Itsegok, JP. accompanied the Council Chairman to receive the August visitors.
