Hon Yakubu Izang Ezekiel said, it was a shock and a sad news when he received the demise news of Hon Bitrus Ashom
He said before his death Hon Bitrus Ashom was a man of good standing order who also contributed to the success of his administration, giving him advice, and encouraging him always, he said Izere has lost a Hero and Legend. The memory of Hon Bitrus Ashom will never be forgotten
