Jos, Plateau State - In a display of unity and solidarity, the wife of the Deputy Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Hon. Fatima Madaki Ajiji, today hosted a gathering of wives of the state's lawmakers in her residence.
The event, which took place at the Ajiji's residence in Jos, brought together over 20 wives of members of the Plateau State House of Assembly for an afternoon of camaraderie and discussion.
In her speech, the wife of the Speaker of the House, Mrs. Porit Dewan, expressed her appreciation for the women's support and encouragement, stating that their roles as wives and mothers are crucial to the success of their husbands.
Mrs. Dewan praised the women for their dedication and commitment to their families and the state, saying, "Your unwavering support and guidance have been instrumental in our husbands' achievements, and we are grateful for your tireless efforts."
Hon. Fatima Madaki Ajiji, the host and wife of the Deputy Speaker, welcomed the women and emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration among them. She encouraged the women to continue supporting each other and working together for the betterment of Plateau State.

In attendance were wives of prominent lawmakers, including the Majority Leader, the Minority Leader, and other principal officers.
